Love the orange as well man, good job with the car

Just wondering Phil, What discs and pads are you running with the brembos?
I know S2K discs will allow you to mount the brembos, but what pads will fit that setup?

Still waiting for Brembos to come back from being professionally painted. Hopefully end of this week.

Painted my wheels with Plastidip blue, I originally wanted orange but in Australia they don't sell orange in a pressure can only in 4L tins.
I'm 50/50 with this color of choice, I've purchased some fluoro orange paint to put OVER the plastidip and i'll see if i like that. If not i'll peel it all off and leave it black.

Mannnn why didn't I think of blue I have to say that's my fave for shizzle! I'd leave Em blue! Btw those photos are sickkk! I need you to teach me how to shoot like that.

Do you know what would set this car off but! A mugen rear lip ;p

S2k Discs with custom steel rings to fit between centre bore and rotor centre bore (6mm)
Pads are the same as 350Z brembo pads.
My deal came with 2 sets of pads so i'll use them for abit before upgrading do some ferodo ds2500's

                      Ah thanks Phil

                      Few more things =P
Are the custom steel rings necessary?
Also, say for the DS2500's for the AUDM DC5's, will they fit the brembo caliper and S2K rotor setup?

Yes they are as they are what centralise the disc onto the hub. Without it the disc will sit on the studs causing pressure and vibrstions and just not safe!
No an Audm dc5 brake pad will not fit.
You need a jdm dc5 caliper pad or 350z brembo pad. Brake pad I THINK is a db1540 i got it on my comp somewhere.

Haven't had a good update in awhile so heres one to keep you entertained!

Decided to plasti-dip my wheels Light blue (originally wanted orange). Turned out ok, it grew on me but I still wanted orange so i purchased some basic fluro orange paint and painted on top of the plasti-dip thinking it would still just peel off....well I was wrong ahah!

Rocked the blue and orange for a little while then reverted back to black, Put on my brembos and now my exterior is complete me thinks! (besides a mugen rear lip ONE day)

Also finally ordered a New Primary Denso O2 sensor and got rid of that CEL light WOOP!!
Put some red SR4's in also !

Blue wheels represented @ The Lowdown Showcased!

                          Then the Orange :

So once I got those photos, I was happy, over it, and ready to go back to black!

I had finally got my Brembo's back and it was time to install them

                          All painted up!

                          Bolted on

                          DONE :

Then I put some RED SR4's in

I've also purchased some Hardrace Engine mounts which are yet to be put in !

and here is a fast forwarded video of me peeling the plasti dip off. Took 2-3 mins to peel of!

                          That is all for now.

I'm SO jealous of the Brembo's!!
Love the choice of painting them silver; you have a real silver and black theme going on it's great. Maybe inspiration for my own car... hehe

Brembos look good Phil and the car is looking good.
Alex, the Brembo is a template, they paint the calipers first then wait for them to Dry...
You then get your stencil template out, masking tape it on (Most likely the stencil is like a plastic/paper material which is re-usable), paint the word brembo on and your done...
I remember seeing someone on OzHonda do that ages ago..

                                Keep it up Phil.
Let us know how the HR mounts go.. The Red recaros look good... i would so kill for those in my Red DC5 lol
