To be honest about carmate. Some of their products are good, most of them aren't. Customer service aint all that great unless one of the workers is working but he's on leave atm. I have to go return my uniform to them =='' i dont wanna go back

lols true! But then again as much as customers fustrate me i try to keep my cool!
My store is near canley cabra chipping norton you can imagine how many asians i get who all drive toyota camry's and corollas with 300k kms and want always the Cheapest oil. I find it amusing ahah!

Yeah when i work at villawood i speak viet to some of the viet customers. At wenty its different cause its half bogans and half lebs. And in north parra i find that its mixed but one thing is that customers in north parra will never want to give out their name for a refund or special order lol. Im going to blacktown tomorrow so il see how thats like.

I've never worked at another store besides mine and villawood! I always get spoken to in lebanese -.- and I'm just like im Italian damnit! Sometimes it happens so often they say something in lebanese/assyrian i just say yeah mate isle 8. LOL then run!

Lol. Well customer service at carmate is the worst with simon (who owns it) hr ealks off on customers talking to him. He is also very hard to understand. But if rob still works there after his break. He's the best to talk to. But its very hard to bargain at carmate as they are very stingy =.= even with the workers pay.

So removed front bar ready for installtion of Injen CAI and some white/blue Narva Gloves. Was going to do HID's but might just put that off for now.


While the front bar was off and was waiting for mate to drop off the Injen I decided to polish up the plastic surrouns of the foglight cover hole and also repaint the mesh as it had seen better days.


Before the accident my condensor was black, they put a silver one on and although yeah it looked like a intercooler from far (lol) I wanted it black again to make the front end look tidy again.

And final engine bay shot. Looks really empty now, thinking of mounting a catch can to the strut tower there, maybe some braided lines, fill up the engine bay and make it look dressy, nice strut brace later down the track should also look sweet.


Next on the list is full exhaust which is toda headers, toda cat, powergetter catback hopefully late January - mid february.

Good progress! Care to share what products you used on the plastic brake duct bits?

Also out of interest stock DC5R air conditioning condensers are silver from memory, so the one on your car before might have been repaired previously.

ahhh well that would explain the funky overspray on the old condensor i though 'damn honda cheap spray painters' lol! i assume old owner sprayed? Anyway much love for black looks clean.

The ducts covers thingoes i just washed them, plastic primered then black engine enamel. All 3m products. Have done this method plenty of times on plastic and never fails.

Plan on spraying the louvre also adventually its abit faded from the sun.
