Dont stress bout that hose. Its not finished yet.
I will be p clamping all hose and getting it ouy of the way of potential rupture or damage.
Im sure I will figure out a better way to run the hose.
Today I finally finished the motor.
What a great achievement that was.
The build has been an exciting and massive learning experience.
So if I can get my hands on the engine crane this weekend I will drop it in.
Few things left to do and get. spigot/pilot bearing for manual box to marry from an auto engine.
find a serpentine belt that fits, got one just too small
and do some wiring.
But one night after work this week it may be running...
GW Timmy. Thats what I thought as well, 1 night and it may be running, and to my surprised turned into many days. All the fluids to flush, bolts to retorque and not to mention small things that will just delay the process! But looks good bro! What headers are you using by the way?

Yeah well I had hoped for Sunday to finish but as you said, all the little things are some set backs.
paid $250 for all my fluids on saturday and getting the belt changed this week.
Biggest worries with this build were:
Oil cooler kit. It will reach and all hoses will fit.
Spoon headers (my other MAJOR worry) the spoon headers fit perfectly (just had to remove the heat sheild from cat, clears sway bar with heaps of room).... Though I would have to change this to PLM.
Cutting the type R oil pump to fit the block and spoon sump... Saw heaps of shitt jobs on build threads and DIY threads, took my time and did a bloody good job.(will upload photos of this soon)
Will keep wire loom as is just to start the car and make sure its all running, then i can wire the new battery and killswitch in
