    You will be severely disappointed with the image quality from olympus water/shock proof cameras.. The panasonic lumix shock/water proof models are heaps heaps better..

        I can confirm this. I will also confirm the same issues with the Sony ones too. Infact almost all of those cameras without a "proper" lens mechanism will suffer from it. This is due to the cameras usually having smaller sensors and poorer lens designs.

          No offence guys but you are replying to a thread 4years old. The olympus might have been decent then, hopefully no one in there right mind will be looking at 4year old advice when buying something electronic. Things are probably different now

            the technology hasnt changed much, the manufacturers have jut crammed more pixels on the same size sensors.
