off topic should be for "Evo crashes" etc

i think my message came across the wrong way. Keep the smut off the forums because it really takes away from the community. if you want porn there are plenty of other sites out there that can offer you that sort of thing.

I'm all for posts that are safe for work, and filtering out all the offensive posts (nudity included). what i do not agree with is locking threads because a couple of clowns decide to post that sort of thing. simply delete those posts and not the whole thread. let everyone know that it isnt allowed. let them have a say after giving them a warning instead of locking up threads immediately after shit is deleted. it gives people some time to vent off some steam if they feel that one of their posts were deleted without jsutification, instead of creating some tension by completely barring people from contributing to the forum.

anyway, the mods are doing a top job atm. it may or may not have happened in this forum.. i'm just expressing my POV.

I haven't locked anything in the tech forum besides telling people to stay on topic and delete off-topic posts (to clean up threads).

no it's a statement...i'm just using the "i am gay" thread as an example.

As for threads that are locked in lounge, I can see three that I did and all to which have a reason behind it.
