... but it could be better. it's the lounge. it's called a lounge because there are random useless posts everywhere. threads should not be locked because they are meaningless in this forum subsection, nor should posts get deleted unless they are highly offensive.. at the moment, in the first page of threads in the lounge, there are 3 locked threads that i believe have been locked without any decent justification.

Yeah you have your point, but at the same token if its so leaniant there will be completely ridiculous threads. I think threads should be locked if they are meaningless. For example, what is the point of the I am a homosexual thread? It will eventually turn into some chat thread. It also would kind of create annoyance for the mods in a way.

I don't know, but everyone's perception of what is just or not differs. I agree with you the fact that posts should not get deleted unless they are highly offensive or may create/stir trouble. I'm sure the mods aim to govern the forum at what they may feel is best. Like I said, everyone sees things differently. Even your post just then was your 2 cents. Not every mod will float every member's boat. If there are enough complaints about a certain issue then sure, things should be altered to cater best for the community.

then we need a new forum: "Off Topic" to ensure that we still have a "work safe" place that peeps can come to and hang out and *chat* without fear if "I AM GAY" threads or random porn pictures?

i will raise this with the other mods, so there can be a "no rules" lounge and a "rules" Off Topic section...

actually that part i agree.. the posting of Tubgirl in the lounge before was soo wrong... especially before the NSFW was put in.. so an offtopic no rules section might be a good idea

Don't get me wrong. I have no complaints about the mods. They are just doing their job. I was just wondering, if we should be allowed to post trash talk & Jing's fav pics etc.

Maybe the lounge is for other car-related topics and we should have a "Anything goes, come out of your closet Ad" type section like tinks suggested.
