Having come from a modded DC5R to modded EVO9 I'd recommend the EVO9 without a doubt.

The FD2R would be great fun no doubt, but the evo is in a different league of car.

Depends what you want out of the car.

Evo 9 you can get here easily... FD2R probably almost no chance so if you can get that, go for it! I agree Evo will kill the Honda in performance if you spend the same amount of money modifying, but if you want a rare car, get the FD2R... You'd probably get more looks and attention if you drive one than with an Evo...

If after performance alone, get the Evo.

just got 1 friend of mine told me that FD2R's suspension are much more stiffer than stock dc5r or evo's ....it's about the same like TEIN HA or Flex...wow...impresive

my friend had an evo9 n runs ok with the hot weather for about 2-3 hours. then have to pull over and let the car cold down
