      nicee.. will this replace the macbook pro?? or they still going to release the new macbook pro soon??

      i think the price is reasonable.. your paying for size and weight.. all ultraportable laptops are usually that price.

          you can buy a usb external dvd burner from apple. its about 150 bucks or so.

          Such good innovation

          And there is no chance it will replace either macbook. That would destroy apples market share.
          The macbook is for light users while the Macbook Pro is for high end use. Simple as that. The macbook air fits in as a n ultra portable mac which is powerful yet energy efficient and space saving for traveling and business trips/meetings/work.

            I got the samsung Q30 of the back of a truck for cheap! ($350) and is a great ultra portable laptop, no cd drive but it can take every type of memory card. 5 hours plus battery life.
