apple does not sell to people with brains, they sell to people with big hearts that is unable to think with their brain.

and it works, i purchase products off them frequently too ....... LOL

hmm...after doing more research, the 1.8ghz version uses a SSD hard drive...supposedly it's US$15 per GB for SSD

mmmm its not that good too. Burst speed is obiviously astonishing but overall transfer speed for large files is less than staggering.

its obviously not for people who are looking at high end performace... SSD do not break with shock and sudden movements unlike traditional hdd's.

This is a very VERY light notebook with i expect a very long battery life (over 5 hours). I sell notebooks and computers for my job and i tell u now, this will sell. Mac users have been looking for a notebook which is light, portable and reletively high performance (c2d and 2gb ram!) which isnt windows.

and the price is low for what it is. Sony currently make the best (imo) lightweight travel notebook for business peoples and this is the first good competition ive seen.

Can we buy DVD drive as an option? I wouldn't buy anything w/o DVD drive nowadays. How are you going to install softwares and games!!!!!!!! OMG!!!

But it looks cool & nice though, I have to admit it.

                              it uses "Remote Disc"
you will need to configure nearby PC/Macs that has a cd/dvd rom drive and use your wireless to access the CD/DVD

you can also buy a external dvd drive
