Hi MrThanh, how far away were you when you were taking the shot and what focal length were you using?

not so sure on distance, but it was @ 200mm. i guess moved back enough to have the car fill about 2/3 of the frame

There are plenty of books at libary's that have stuff like this in it. I know the one i got out here had a stack of photo's showing how DOF changed all the way from f2-f22

I think you may have been a little bit to close to the car when shooting at 200mm focal length
