note: if you guys tend to running on 18 inch rims, u will see a decease of power from 10 to 15kw..
ay paul, just thinking about what Indy said; does that mean if you had your track rims on, you'd have gotten like 20kw atw more?
never occurred to me how lighter wheels massively contribute to the power of a car, but it does make sense..

next time, just rock up in ur track rims n semi's haha..

            should catch up sometime lad

yo Derek, there was a 15kw difference with the 18s lad. so yeah would have seen over 200kw. but im happy to know that the car is more safe now and knock levels are GONEEEE.

funny u say next time rock up on the 17s track rims and semis. there was a test a while back and what they did was dynoed a car with the same rim size but only difference was 1 set of rims had nankang tyres and the other set had semis. the nankang showed more kw on the dyno as the semis had too much grip and made it harder to make the dyno rollers to turn.

so theres a thought for ya all.

another thing aswell, if you pump up your tyres to like 50psi, that will also bump up the kw numbers on the dyno too. i was running my street settings at 28psi rear and 30psi front.

so if you want numbers, do the things i said lads

I think it has more to do with how the larger diameter effects the gearing of the car, lighter wheels help with unsprung mass and that is a different gain altogether.

that's heaps low man. I'm running on 36 all around, and when I start noticing my car stuttering more from a stand-still, tyres are down a couple of psi.
I reckon 28-30 is killing your tyres, but then again you're car barely see's the light haha.. but seriously lad, its heaps low.
