yeah its all goes abit pearshaped if we compare it like that

the dc5 is just a stream

and the dc2 is just an eg ...

what i mean is it is very rare for a new car to be slower then an old car. I cant see too many examples of new cars been slower overall then the old car *not factoring in driving feel/excitment since this is a discussion on pure laptimes and not drivine feel/excitment*

Civic R ran 1:14.49 around Wakefield in Motor Magazine BFYB - this month's issue.

So guys with FN2's ... there's your "time to beat"

The Car Show took a CTR out to Calder and Glen Ridge was fanging it around. It looked like he was pulling 200kmh down the front straight (which is about what my DC2R on RE540’s was doing in to turn 1). I’ve emailed Carsales.com.au asking what lap time it did but I haven’t received a reply.

If I change the nut behind the wheel then my sloppy lines improve and I can get some consistency to sort out my iffy handling, my worrying lack of braking ability goes away, after that I can start fretting about my suspicious lack of straight line grunt.
