Evo all the way..having owned my05 sti, i can gurantee you that the evo is better at handling than the sti. The steering is sharper and not as much understeer. The AYC is more aggressive in transferring torque to each rear wheels. The power is comparable and the bonnet scoop is annoying at times. my 2 cents

Didn't really notice the ride difference between the two cars, both cars had relatively semi-hard ride in stock form. The seats in the evo gave better lumnar and shoulder support whereas in the sti only had shoulder support. Highway driving the sti had cruise control whereas the evo don't. My evo is a daily driver and so was my sti, if ur happy to pay for the petrol, at least 400km pr tank driving off boost. Tyres in the sti were RE'something' semi-slick ones, can be very noisy on highway cruising. PM me if you need more details.

Apparently thats the only advantage that the STi has over the over..

You guys read MOTOR this month??they put the 350 and STi ahead of the IX

They must of had a defective evo...0-100 in 5.9
THey test the IX a few months ago and they recorded 5.02
