EVO 8 or STi 03.. what would you pick?

This has probably been asked 10 times before... But i was wondering if any of you guys have actually owned any of these cars and would like to give me some insights on how these cars are.. I might be planning on upgrading not sure... I've read countless articles but experience is a much better insight in my opinion

Most of my friends would go for Evo 8...
But ive heard bad things about them... how they are a rough ride.. And that i'd be a dumb ass to be driving it as a everyday car... I'm looking for a car i can drive like my type r to uts like 4 times a week (I'm not a public transport kinda person hehe).. My demand for power isnt alot as i dont drive hard but i'd love to experience a 4wd turbo hehe .. so yea. Do you guys think STi might be the better choice for me?

Price wise I'm pretty sure they are similar... there isnt any off topic sections in this forum.. so i apologise if this is in the wrong area and that mods are welcomed to delete or move it

either way u cannot lose, but evo for sure.

i mean there is not one pro that would make me pick the sti over the evo in anyways.

if you do not mind importing cars, u might want to import an evo 8 MR.

In terms of looks the STi is the better looking one...

Performance wise.....the evo wins....by reading mags.......
Your driving an R anyway...so i dont know y u would be turned off from a car due to its rough sus.

thats true u already got the R so better stick with it rather than driving a Turbo car everytime you need to warm it up and cool it down, i dont like it, its not for me

Evo 8 MR is my choice (if you're OK with an import)

...but then you might say I'm biased

I would choose STi, because there are heaps around, meaning easy to find someone for repairs / maintenance, parts are everywhere. BUT HEY, that's just my opinion.

Yeah, their suspension is really weird. Feels underdamped or something, I don't quite know what it is. It could be that because you sit higher you feel the effects of the bumps more?

Both cars have their issues. Buy an IS200 and wack a blower on it.
