    New Member Intro

Hi guys, my name is Alex and I am 17 and looking forward to getting my P's early next year. Originally, I was after a DC2R or a DC5R, but my parents bought me a CL9 Accord Euro 6spd. Can't really complain since it is my first car, but I am already thinking about doing some light modifications or even an engine swap (Euro-R half cut) in the near future. I look forward to learning lots from this site and it's friendly members.

Welcome Alex. An accord euro is an amazing car, especially for a first car! In my opinion I don't see much point of getting a k20. Might as well keep the k24 and work that up. The k24 has more potential.

              K20... pffft.

K24 is the way to go, have a read of the latter part of my build thread for some basic mods to a K24, and what figures you should be able to obtain.

k24...pffft you can only rev them things to 4500rpm right.LOL

Alex welcome, thats a very nice car for anybody to have! An engine swap to k20(stock) would be not the best due to the weight of your car as well as the huge cost. The bigger k24 has more torque to move the weight. The strong point of cl7&9 is in the suspension(better than intregra). wheels, tires(best you can afford),suspension, exhaust and intake will make a quick car! enjoy you car, take care of it and drive carefully.
