It was a great weekend, well sort of.

On Saturday I did the Conrod straight speed event, which was really fun. going through the kink at 200km/h full throttle on cold semi slicks is a bit touch and go.

one sprinter rolled and a falcon smashed into pit wall.

Heaps of different types of cars which was really good to see. Richard and Michael from the Honda car club had their little EK race civic out there and was doing really well as well.

Everyone was friendly and a great bunch of people

On the second was the esses hill climb. Trent made it from orange so it was good to see more Honda support.

On my first run, halfway up the mountain, my car lost handling in and out of corners and could not put the power down properly.

When I slowed down to pull back into the pits, I heard the familiar sound of broken axle/sun gears in the diff.

That ended my day pretty suddenly. Luckily I was able to baby the car home without the need for a tow.

Trent was driving like a champ on Sunday so he should have hopefully taken out the class on Sunday.

This is the second ATS diff to break in the same manner. After this, I would highly recommend to everyone not to get an ATS diff.

that is 2 ATS lsds break in the same manor within 2 months of each other, that isnt good for ATS at all.

One broke on a stock B18, so power cant really be the issue here.

the essess (being essess!) would wind the LSD up i would imagine?

i saw in another forum a claim of a big win for an S13 with GT wing over the "type r's"

were there many other cars in your class Jase?
