                  I heard a stock s2k on S02's can pull 1.44 - thats almost as fast as your civic. Dare to try?

                      I've seen too many S2K's get owned at winton lol (last 2 hsccv days, 2 s2ks got towed home)

                      I would love to race it tho. But not just yet. Let me enjoy it before i start destroying it

                            Hmmm what track conditions, method of timing, who was the driver, etc for this 1:43 time. My stock DC2R did a 1:43.7 with a good driver but that was on Bridgestone RE540s (It’s be quicker again on RE55’s), a 1:43 out of a dead stock DC5R (with stock road tyres) seems awfully quick.

                            1:44 for a stock S2K I’d believe and a stock DC2R about 2 seconds slower (damn those long straights).

                            If I change the nut behind the wheel then my sloppy lines improve and I can get some consistency to sort out my iffy handling, my worrying lack of braking ability goes away, after that I can start fretting about my suspicious lack of straight line grunt.

                                It was published ages in a car magazine (which I can no longer remember) and the driver was obviously a pro.
