I don't understand why you guys are all upset . Go to other track days organised by other car clubs, and/or go to Winton practise days. Both options are much cheaper than HSCCV's track days
You can still go to other track days and practise days as a group amongst yourselves. I prefer to go to track days with cool race cars like heaps of Porsches (eg. PIARC Phillip Island track days).
I comes to who do you want to share the track with.
The Honda people are very nice. So I love the Honda days.
I went to the test and tune days at Winny on the Australia day. Too many cars turn up. Oh well it is a public holiday afterall. So there is so much traffic and people are idiots there, so I went home in the afternonn.
Some days there are only 1-2 cars, but it is a Friday.
If it is not 2 hours drive, it is worth to go and check it out before paying the $120 to Adam.
If there are 40 people, I can do a Winton day during a weekday for $120 each easy. The track hire is not that much during weekdays. Weekend is expensive.

I just spoke with Bill from hsccv. The main reason why it was cancelled was because there weren't enough officials and only 2 people handed in the form. So the next one they will be organising will be in November.
So the day is free at Winton now.... come on Eddie, you know you want to do it.
Le Tour cycle can be your sponsor lol
