[NSW] ClubITR Mid Year Cruise - Sunday June 30
Hi Everyone!
After the first breakfast cruise, and the second failed breakfast cruise.. It's time for a lunch cruise! This time we'll be driving up to Singleton via Putty Road. Once we arrive at Singleton, we'll have lunch at the Royal Hotel Singleton. After lunch we'll drive to a more secluded area, where everyone can chill/talk/socialize/take photos. The Tamworth and Newcastle guys have been notified of this event, and we'll try to hold somewhat of a 'meet' at this location. After an hour we'll say our goodbyes, and the Sydney folk will head back home along Putty Road.
Date:
Sunday, 30th June 2013.
Cruise meet-up location:
8AM - Governor Phillip Park - End of George Street, Windsor, NSW 2756.
Just follow the arrows as indicated on the map. Once you get towards the end you'll see a big parking space with a few cars already there. Please try to be punctual as we will be leaving at 9AM. As you enter please do so quietly as it is a residential area. I'm pretty sure no one wants to be awoken by the sound of a high revving engine at 8AM on a Sunday morning, so please be respectful guys.
Cruise end location:
12PM - Ryan Avenue, Singleton.
We will be parking at one of two parking lots as marked above. This will be decided on the day depending on the numbers, and how full the parking lots already are. We'll then have a short 5 minute walk to the Royal Hotel Singleton, where we will be having lunch!
2PM - End meet location:
Rose point park or Civic park (decided on the day). Here we will be able to take photos, and relax before heading back home.
Times:
Cruise meet-up - 8AM.
Cruise departure - 9AM.
Expected arrival time Singleton - 12PM.
Eat/Relax time - 12PM - 2PM.
End meet - 2PM - 3PM.
Departure back to Sydney (Windsor) - 3PM.
Notes:
-This is a rough guideline, things may be earlier/later so try to be punctual.
-The cruise one way is roughly about 180km, or two and a half hours. Please have at least 3/4 to a full tank of petrol before you come to the meet-up.
-Please ensure your car is in well enough condition and will not break down on the middle of the cruise.
-This is NOT A RACE guys. There will be no medals or trophies for whosoever gets there first.
-Safety Warning; Putty Road is extremely dangerous guys, even at the recommended speed limit and especially for first timers. Please drive safely, and sensibly. Leave a fair gap between yourself, and the car in front of you. Please do not do stupid things such as tailgating, passing other cars, etc.
-If you are found to be 'hooning', or being a hazard to both yourself and others on the road you will be dealt with accordingly.
-At the end of the day we are representing ClubITR, and the car scene in general. All it takes is one person to ruin it for everyone else, so don't be that person.
As per usual, ClubITR rules apply:
-NO BURNOUTS!
-NO HOONING!
-NO LOUD MUSIC!
-NO ENGINE REVVING!
-TAKE AWESOME PHOTOS!
