Timmy B, cost is structured this way so it will encourage competitors to make it to day 1. Last year cost was $175. Track hire has increase from last year and with day 1 activities im sure $230 is more than fair. .

$230 probably is fair. But not giving people the option to attend one or the other is not.

So to clarify - you're telling us that people have to pay for food / drink / dyno runs they may not even want?? For what purpose??

^^ Whilst i do agree.
My intention as im driving up from melbourne,
i'll be arriving up in sydney on the 8th of september and intend to head home on the 11th.
Most interstate drivers will probably do the same as they won't wanna be pulling up late on the saturday afternoon.

If they have structured it this way, the reason being would be to get people talking to one another, have a community event i guess you could say but i do agree the 'option' should be given.

Just saw the idea on JDMST about the skyline nationals... would be a good idea IMO
