[NSW/Possibly QLD] Cruise proposal - 'The Big One'

Hi guys,

I've mentioned to Felix a few times that I'd love to organise another big cruise. Many years ago when ClubITR was still a subforum on ClubRSX, we held a 'Mega Cruise' where a small group of us experienced some of the best driving roads in NSW, being the Oxley Highway and Thunderbolts Way.

This would be a two day event with an overnight stay - possibly in Walcha NSW. Day one would be approx 520km, with day two being a slightly more direct route of 420km.

Who would be interested in coming on this?

Tinkerbell will no doubt be able to remember some of the enjoyment that was had on the last one as he was there!

When are you planning to do it?

Depending on interest, perhaps a weekend in May/June? It will be cold overnight, but I don't think that should matter too much.

Was thinking Easter initially but it's probably a bit short notice for many, and also double demerits + extra traffic on the road is never really a good combination for this sort of cruise.

If it's during July, I would definitely be in - with the exception of the 7th of July. I'm unable to make May/June since I'll still be placed up in Mackay for Uni reasons and won't be able to finish that until late June. D:

Bumping this back up. I am interested in such a weekend, but will need a few months warning like many others here I am guessing. What month were you thinking of doing it?
