Hillclimbing is a great way to get involved in grassroots motorsports - it is cheap, easier on your car and very very exciting...
The NSW Hillclimb fraternity is lucky to have twelve available Hillclimb tracks in NSW, including Mt Panorama. This provides competitors with great variety of events and a chance to see a few new places.
Basically, a Hillclimb is a run on a 'hill' of between 600 to over 2000m length that is timed. Yes, that simple!

The hard part is getting your car off the line and to go a hard as you can up the hill without losing control - newbies should always talk to seasoned Hillclimbers for tips and advice, and always 'walk the hill' to get a good feel for it. Some events have sighting runs for newcomers.
So what do you need?
