Joke or serious? You'd only be able to use then in QLD, and I would probably price then at something stupid as I don't really want to sell them (Probably >$1k)Originally posted by Mr AK View Posti m interested in your plates buddy, willing to part that out?
Well I catch the train to work every day, and I use another car to drive to the station or get dropped off, so the Integra is only a weekend car, and I would more then likely use a new car in the same capacity. So the Integra has done "most" of it's depreciating (Well the part of it's life were it looses 5k a year)... where as the Evo is only beginning that.Originally posted by Perry View PostI assume if you buy an evo will it be a daily?

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong... a moded one would be insane... but getting it to the point where I would actually be happy with it (Clutch, flywheel, BOV, Exhaust, VERY GOOD Coilovers, GTR Fitment rims) would probably be an extra 10k, if not more, on top of the 40k purchase price.Originally posted by tofu View Postthanks for the insight into the EVO9...and I feel exactly the same. Unless you drive a modified one...hehehe

i have the exact same feeling towards those turbo AWD. i lived with a R32 GTR for 6 months and honestly it is a very boring daily. no doubt it's quick but it does it very easily which makes it boring to drive on the street. i also drove a few stock EVOs including 7, 8MR etc and they all feel the same to me. i just don't feel connected with the car like i was in the Mx5 and now in the Civic.
i have no doubt they're awesome and very very fast cars and great for the track. however i spend most of my driving on the street and i prefer my car to be fun on the street as well as on the track.
glad that you are keeping the car.
