    DC2 Idleing

Idling temperamental.. It will rev at 700 rpm when warm.. If i press the brake it will drop below 500 rpm and same if i rotate the steering wheel all the way. It does correct it self after a second or so. If air con's turned on it will rev low for a sec then about 1100 rpm..

If im driving around 70 km/h and fully press clutch in it will drop to about 500 rpm then correct it self. Finding i have to ride the clutch and rev about 2500 rpm to take off in 1st gear or is will nearly stall...

Also wasn't doin this before so 100% sure not my driving...

The iacv has been cleaned and fuel injecter cleaner has been used. I run it on 98% octane...

Any idea guys.. Im also running a ram intake to the stock box with a K&N filter. Would that cause this??

Any help would be great guys Thanks???

you took it to them to fix the idle? well, maybe take it back?

BTW - you probably have to reset the idle screw *properly* to fix it...

this is not normal - it is supposed to idle at 850 rpm +/- 50 rpm

If i press the brake it will drop below 500 rpm

this is normal - the brake booster is attached to the intake manifold and the idle motor (IACV) needs a few seconds to adjust

and same if i rotate the steering wheel all the way.

this is normal - the power steering pump slows the engine and the idle motor needs a few seconds to adjust

this does not sound normal - it indicates that the idle needs to be set using the FACTORY PROCEDURE THAT IS OUTLINED IN THE FACTORY MANUAL

yeah - no idea on this one!

you wasted money on fuel injector cleaner, oh well, live and earn...
