He turned his car into a Track Spec DC5R with the sponsers of big names etc etc.. He deserves credit for what he's done, he's brought a good rep to this site so i don't think anyone should be dishing at him..

No-one should be dishing at anyone.. people gotta settle down

The only reason i don't post my car on ClubITR as of yet is because it's not ready to be put on the site IMO.. it's on OzHonda for general advice but when i need somewhere to turn for things i won't get there ill be asking hear as ive done time and time again..
Plus my car's in pieces anyway LOL...

    Hey mate,

Yes, I agree he deserves credit for turning a street car into a track car, everyone deserves credit for what they've done to their car! In regards to people dissing M0nty, myself, I have never dissed him until he made irelevant comments. Of course I know its a forum and will take the good and the bad, but im sure M0nty can admit, he went above and beyond on several occasions.

Everyone loses there cool over things no-one is perfectly especially myself but sometimes frustration gets the better of you as we all know, right or wrong??

I think he wasn't in the wrong though, some people can't accept that there are other cars better then theres in terms of value for money and some people just take it to heart and i honestly don't know why and that's when the personal attacks start..

A fair bit would need to be done to make it "fit" with ADR. It has a 7000cc supercharged LS engine. The same block used in the W427. It's 3 seconds faster than the GTR around the Nordschleife and it doesn't have the doubt surrounding it's time like the GTR does. I want to see Porsche and Nissan have a battle at the ring after the trash talk in 2008.
        It's either a 6.3 litre superchargered

        or a 7.0 litre N/A

Not both and it'll be around for a while because Generous Motors is broke and cant afford to do much with new models.

I'm really curious to see what Honda come out with as a replacement. They've done turbo production and race engines before and BMW are going to forced induction M power engines so who knows?
        Honda DC2R Integra

If I change the nut behind the wheel then my sloppy lines improve and I can get some consistency to sort out my iffy handling, my worrying lack of braking ability goes away, after that I can start fretting about my suspicious lack of straight line grunt.

I must admit most honda lovers are moving on as because Honda hasn't step up the game yet so sad.
What's with the fight here its becoming like Ozhonda.

also u go on about honda dropping there game with engine development. gm would have to be the biggest example of this. how long have they been running large bore pushrod v8s? all they ever do is make them bigger.
yeah they peform well but to me they sound boring and lazy.

It's clever but also lazy. The new XF uses the old S Type powertrain and chassis with a new skin. Oh my, it's a looker though.

I don't "go on" about GM. We got OT in talking about performance cars like the GTR and that's where the Corvette got brought up.

Due to the nature of EU emissions it's the 4 cylinder space that has had to develop more fuel efficent and lower emission technology. The V8 space out of the US has never been hamstrung with such restrictions. I'm sure that will change though in the future.

Take a look at the German V8s and they're almost all going to twin scroll smaller capacity V8s producing more power and torque but almost 30% more fuel efficient than their older counterparts. It's the future, no doubt.

If we compare GM with Mercedes and BMW we're talking generations in terms of technology gaps. I've driven the E63 and C63 at length and they absolutely smash any GM powered cars, but there's the cost. The GTS is $160,000 cheaper than an E63.

Try convincing consumers to spend 2.5 times more for a turbocharged 4 cylinder Golf over an equivalent Honda with conventional VTEC technology. The reason why these cars are the new trend is because they are also cost effective.

As Phillip Lee said, when you compare a Golf GTI to an EP3 you get a very different experience. The GTI is chock full of newer generation tech and the EP3 is a raw performance experience. The difference in quality is immense and I would argue that anyone here could see the difference after spending some time in a GTI.

That doesn't mean the EP3 is a bad car. It's just built to a different purpose.

                              No way.

They only got good again with the XK and XF. The last 10 years before that were ghastly. They built cars to impress old US business men and retirees wearing tweed sports jackets with leather elbow patches.

                                and not a GTI
