Q on Toda header clearing DC5R sway

    hey guys

Im looking into getting a toda header for my 5r and just wanting to clarify. Would the audm sway bar need to be changed for clearance? or will it fit without any issues?

    Thanks

The AUDM bar will not fit with the Toda header and the JDM DC5R front sway bar will not mate up to the AUDM LCAs.

Any aftermarket item intended for the EP3R should be fine. Not sure about locally made options, I had heard that the Whiteline bar would bang on some JDM headers unless it was set to full stiff. Can anyone confirm?

The JDM EP3R bar is around 26mm with about 3mm wall thickness I think. Larger diameter than the front bar fitted to the AUDM DC5R.

unless you have jdm dc5r front sway and LCA (brembo) then would it fit?

It will fit 100% I have fitted this combination myself. No issues at all, just be aware that the EP3R bar is larger diameter than the AUDM one so you will need the bushings that go in the D bracket attached to the sub frame as well as the bar itself. I reused the AUDM D brackets because I misplaced the EP3R ones but I bet they are the same.

Yeah for sure, it would fit no worries. It is only the Australian and US cars that have the funny shaped swaybar that nothing will fit past.
