i mean u dont need to view the laptop when u r driving, u just need it to datalog then u can see it in the pits? If so then just try and mount it in the boot. No matter what happens then it will never be a danger to you.

Velcro it all up and hope it doesnt move from ur cornering g forces.

i just need to find a good way of doing this velcro/bungee cord business... i'd prefer to mount it on the back seat as i still have to be able to tell it where the start/finish is on a orientation lap and be able to hear it give me my times..

still...

there is a lot of work for me to do to get this whole thing together for next thu.. there is a high chance that it will not be a goer.
