When I installed the Ingall's TD on my car it significantly increased the NVH.... basically think of the chassis being a big resonance board for the engine. Engine movement did dramatically reduce though - my gruppe M was slightly malaligned as I had a thicker Hondata intake manifold gasket installed which increased the gap by 5mm so the gruppe M would chatter against the cowl piece. With the TD it almost completely disappeared.

i'd love to know/feel exactly how much more rattle would the car has after fitting ETD before i commit. tofu, since you're also in Brissy, would you mind a meet?

                thanks

Personally, It’s a slight vibration, it gives you a more steering wheel feel, than vibration.

Can’t remember how the car feels without it, I’ve had one on the car, pretty much from day dot.
It’s easy to install, gets rid of 85% of wheel hopping, now that’s a pain in the assets

Also probably more suited to type S, rather than an R? Type S NO LSD

Yes still running OEM engine mounts, all good

                    Anywayz that my 2 cents

btw i was told the J's Racing ETD is adjustable for stiffness. is Spoon ones the same?

                      any difference between major brands? Spoons/J's Racing/M & M/Ingalls

My previous mechanic did this - he broke one of the strut tower bar bolts from over-tightening.

He said it doesn't matter but I disagree.

Ben from Touge Tune knocked the broken bolt out (it takes a bit of force because its welded in on the Type R's)

He then just put in a bolt and screwed it in. The only problem with this is that when you unscrew you have to be careful that the bolt doesnt fall out under the wheel arch.

                            quick question about the etd,
are they pretty much another mount to make less movement for the engine, i.e: a mini engine mount?

and also are they worth investing in if the car is pretty much a stocker?
                            cheers
