    B18C2 vs B20

    Hey all!

Did a quick search but couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for. Currently driving the dc2 that can be found here:

    http://forum.clubitr.com.au/showthre...894#post155894

Currently I'm running b18c2 arc intake arm, nsx airbox, spoon streets exhaust, mugen 4-1 reps.

I also have type r internals complete with crank, conrods, pistons etc. Yet to be installed as I'm still saving and trying to determine what set up to run.

B20 with p72 head or type r internals with the p72 head. Although it will no doubt outrun a b18c only thing stopping me from going the b20 is that I've heard that they aren't as reliable and having a look at the block i found that the piston walls do look a little thin.

What are your thoughts? I've also thought of sleeving a b20. anyone know about the costs for that ?

With the p72 head I'm planning to go for the je eldelbrook performer x intake manifold, along with a 68mm t/b, 4-1 jdm headers and maybe a type r gearbox if the funds allow me.

    Thanks

Stock sleeves are fine. Keep the comp low and get a decent tune and it'll last for yrs.

Just a testiment how strong stock sleeves are, we had it @ 9600rpm.
