      A mate has his plates just attached to the front bar with double sided tape, and they are prestige plates too which are probly about 10times the weight of the standard plate, i guess you could also do that....

      Umm it still slightly blocks the radiator i guess but not as bad as having it in the middle....

      You could always do put the aluminium angle up the other way so that the plate is attached at the bottom and then sits up in front of the actually plastic. Alternatively use two 90x90mm angle brackets and put some foam tape on the back to stop it marking your paint....

            That's what I did when I found my low centrally mounted plate was hurting my water temps at lower speed. I'll post a picture up soon.
