Sounds like exactly what I want!! No spacers I'm guessing ? Really what I want would be the exact same specs as your wheels but unfortunately the wheels I want are hard to find the right specs or at all Realy and I don't wNna spend 4 grand on wheels! And how did u achieve that camber? Just ur camber tops?

Check out PerfectRun japan, I paid no where near 4k(shipping included)...
Currently I have -2 rear (with Hardrace camber arms which can go all the way up to -4 and beyond) and I'v got -1 at front.... with my new tie rods in and some camber bolts I should be able to achieve -3.5 with camber top too

Fitment isn't too bad now though, photos soon

Will they rub at the front or rear (guards are not rolled)? I don't have any camber kits installed and was hoping the natural camber will make them sit fine without too much poke.
I received this in a PM and since I made this thread to avoid PMs like this, I thought I would answer it here:

17x8.5 +30 will fit fine front and rear with a 235/45 but the guards will need to be rolled at the rear and a little bit of camber might be needed at the front, perhaps -1° depending on ride height. I'd recommend a 225/45 or 235/40 tyre. 235/45 are balloons. I had that size wheel and tyre on the rear of my car, pictured in the very first post of this thread.

Shots of my wheel setup. 230 full slicks on CE28N 17x8 +38. Camber F=2.8 R=3.4, It really needs less offset, but $800 per wheel, i guess you gotta use them.

Making 17x9+22 wheels fit my dc5R

I recently just bought wheels of that size as it states in the title and my dad took it down to the tire shop and the guy said it sticks out too much and that its illegal to stick out that much, is there any way to make it fit without spending too much money without getting in trouble?

They only way to "not make it stick out too much" is just epic camber, but what did you expect for 17 x 9 +22?

You will need camber kit front and back, roll guards or even run stretch tyres depending on your liking.

The rear is where most of the work needs to be done. Front will clear quite fine. 225 tyres should be enough stretch ... besides that normal f/r camber kits and rolled rear guards.

I reckon its the front that needs most work.

This guy sums it up. Also even if the wheels tuck, they are still illegal as you are outside the allowable track width change limits: LINK
