I acquired a DC2R a few months back and am looking at some wheels. I've looked around and I've set my heart on the RPF1s.

Its 16x7, 5x114.3 with +43 offset. From what I've gathered thru the posts here I reckon it wouldn't be any problem fitting (thanks for all the useful information btw!). I'm not too sure on tire size now but from your experience, would 205/45R16 would work? or 205/50 be better?

        Cheers for helping!

Are we sure these will fit. I have 16/7 at offset 48 "OEM honda JDM DC2R rims" and they sit very close to the guard

              I'm thinking buying 4x 225/45/17 RE002 for the 17x9 front and 17x8rear.
Bridgestone have deal buy 3 get 1 free.

I wanted really 235/40/17 but the re002 don't come in that size i just relised!

                Why not run staggered? 245 / 40 front, 225 / 45 rear?

Then it looks like a drag car running the fatter profile tyres on front. Looks weird ahah!

Today im going to put on the rims all 4, see if i like them, if I do I might just go buy 4 re002's 225/45/17

The rims already have the staggered look on them and it just looked really weird, I know eventually its only for track purpes and it won't matter.

The sidewall height of a 245/40R17 is smaller than a 225/45R17. Just sayin'

EDIT: A picture to spice up the page since I haven't posted in here since I updated my track tyre sizes.

                      F: 17x9.5 +15 with a 245/40R17 Hoosier R6
                      R: 17x8 +30 with 225/45R17 Hoosier R6
Alignment: -5° camber at the front, -2.3° at the rear
Ride height: About 330mm from wheel centre to guard
Details: Front guards pulled, rear guards rolled. No rubbing at the rear. Some rubbing at full lock at the rear of the wheel well at the front. Rubs toward the top of the rear part of the wheel well at the hairpin at Symmons Plains.

Think im going to go with re002's 225/45/17 all around

How much camber are we talking ? I want a good amount of rubber on the road at the front of corse!

Camber is dependent on ride height. One will determine how much of the other you need.
