Success as in fitment...maybe not so much success in looking as good.

Currently looking at getting some 15x7 +32 for my EG with dc2r brakes (5x114.3 stud pattern)...From what I've seen, they should fit with ease...fingers crossed. But i guess that as they will be track rims, I can dial in a lot more camber to make sure they fit.

After watching Wlee2 fit his 15x7 +20 to his DC2 I think you will be fine with a 205/50, rolled guards and track oriented alignment .

How to Fit 15x7 +20 onto a DcPoo

            Note to all!!!

To get these rims and tyres fitted was not all about slapping them on. do so at your own risk =P

            • we had to roll the front fenders and rear quarter panels.
            • remove a fair chunk(almost all of it) of fender lining
            • fronts are running -3 degrees of camber
            • rears are running -2.5 degrees
            • i had to hammer at the front inner tyre wall (its a seam weld) whilst applying a heat gun to bend a very large thick metal strip
            • rear bumper supports and tabs had to be ground off and new holes drilled to support rear bar.

everyone here will contest to the fact that Tom is a pretty tough guy.. even he turned white as i put a sledge hammer to my car..

also to make it look good we lowered the car ALOT.

but all round it looks hawt now

Went for a drive and only very mild scrapage (the scraping was not tyres it was my exhaust hitting the floor on a bumpy road!).. with an almost fully loaded car
            Wlee2, ChargeR, DazDc5s

i wouldent recomend running any lower than what i have here.. for the one reason is that if i lowered my tyre preasures to around 32 instead of my 38 psi atm

i get beached on certain speed bumps =P

Thanks for posting up Wayne! I still argue that the part of your modifications that I have quoted above may not have been necessary, people on USDM forums assure me that the top of the upper control arm should contact the suspension tower before the tyre hits this seam as long as your tyres are equal or smaller diameter than stock .

hehe just for the added security of my tyres =P

but i seen it cut tyres before remembe bongs tyres.. ?

although that was a EK not a DC

but still i feel safer having hammered it out of the way =P

Yeah it was definitely safer to pound it out of the way. I don't think I could bring myself to do it to my car though .

For anyone that drives an EK here is my favourite wheel fitment on an EK:

                        ErrDizzle from Honda-Tech/nwp4life

                        F: 16x9.5 +35 with 245/35
                        R: 16x8.5 +34 with 215/40

nice insight Wayne, good to see how you went about putting these on after seeing your car in real life!

good return on the effort put in, lets see how i go if things go well...

                            F: 16x7.5 +26 with 205/45
