Yup finally got my car without any obstacles noodleman lol

I’ll try write a short review but I must warn you I’m not really good with it and may be a little bias lol

Anyhuz… this is my first turbo car so I had high expectations for it to be quite “quick” and surprisingly, it definitely was! despite it’s heavy weight for a small car. When I test drove the car, I wasn’t able to thrash it around to get a good feel of the car – but the torque in the polo made low rev-range shifting just as fun lol going up hills and around corners was just a breeze!

Now since I’ve got the car in my hands now – I was able to have abit of fun. Firstly, the handling is amazing, very minimal body roll when turning hard and with the ‘esp’ switched on – it’s a lifesaver in the wet, gives you excellent control! However, it’s quite noisy in the cabin, because the stock muffler is apparently quite loud – giving that nice little deep ‘throaty’ sound when idling. I’ve had complaints with people in the backseats that it’s giving them headaches lol.

When hitting boost (yes, even in the polo lol) I always try not to wet myself, it actually pushes you in the seat and you can feel abit of adrenaline kicking in, it’s definitely addictive! But the torque steer is crazy and I often veer hard to the left, which is really dangerous in high speeds. But nonetheless, this is one definite fun car and glad that I didn’t go ahead with the new civic.

Ok I don’t condone street-racing of any sort, but I must admit I did “compare power” on the highway with me and my friend’s car =P. He drives a civic coupe vtir, with just the catback exhaust and airfilter and fcuk does it sound good! (mMmm will always love the sound of vtec… but induction is better =P)

Anyways to cut the story short, we both started on 3rd gear going at about 70km/h – To my surprise he started to pull away and you can just hear that vtec scream like there was no tomorrow! Then *bam* 4th gear I can see I was slowly reeling him in… and I eventually got ahead and kept on pulling – best feeling ever as it was my first kill =P He was surprised how hard these lil polos go – me too.

Well that's pretty much the end of the review, if there's any questions feel free to ask... I would love to test drive a R and compare it to my car, even though they aren't exactly in the same league. lol
          sif it's a girls car
