exedy HD clutch... HD=heavy duty right?

Not sure i want/need a heavy duty clutch. How Heavy Duty is it?
Why would i want a "heavy duty" clutch, isnt it overkill for a light tune street car?
Is there a slightly softer alternative?
    Is it noisy?
Does the Toda fly damage the starter motor? (some talk about this on US itr forums)
    anyone got ATS 4.9 FD?

I have the Exedy sports organic, and the pedal feel is quite heavy. Just go do some more squats at the gym and beef your legs up

Why would you want a Heavy Duty clutch? Well, that's a good question. I like the feel and the bite of the heavier clutch. But it isn't absolutely necessary.

Noisy? Not really. Only chatters / shudders sometimes when you try and slip it at low RPM (trying to idle along slowly in traffic, or reversing, etc)

Toda fly is no problem on AUDM cars. USDM cars have a different number of teeth on their flywheels apparently so they have the problem of the starter not being 100% compatible... fun fun.
