skunk2 front camber kits

Hi,

just wondering if anyone know, i've been trying to find out for ages, does the camber kit only help to adjust + camber to - ?

this is my problem,

DA with DC2R 5 stud conversion, after i did it, my previous -3.5 camber has now become ZERO!!!! even though i have not increase ride height.

Skunk2 only state " With 3.3 degrees of positive adjustment "

so i m just wondering what i can do...

Camber Kits can adjust to +ve and -ve..
what I get from that statement is that the maximum +ve adjustment that you can make is 3.3 degrees. So if your current camber is -3.5.. and you want to make it less -ve camber.. then the max you can do would be to adjust it to -0.2 ...

correct me if i am wrong..

hehe sorry i've rephrased it..i've lost my - camber after i did my 5 stud..i WANT to get more - camber...now its zero, just wondering how much - a camber kit can help me get if any..coz most sites only state taht they help to get + camber..never anything about - camber

from my personal experience, camber kits will help you adjust both ways.. -ve and +ve as well.. I think they are pretty much equal degrees for both sides.. so it can do -3.3 from 0 or +3.3 from 0..

I have Skunk2 Pro UCA's in my DC2R.

Maybe what Vippy said is correct if your NOT lowered.

If you are lowered, with these arms you'll get more -ve than +ve.

Know what I mean?

swap the exsiting DA radius rods with re-drilled AB Prelude ones...

this will allow you to crank your static + castor and this builds massive dynamic camber...

you will steering effort will increase noticably and the car will get jumpy, but it will corner like a demon...

i know wot u mean dean but i have already lowered my car sooo much already and i just barely get 0 camber..if i go back to stock heights i'll have +ve....

you need to redrill the two bolt holes in both radius rods to suit the different angle they install on... a drill press is best for this...

it is quite a bit of mucking around, and certainly best if you have a workshop... but it is an option if you are willing to do some hard work...

also - alternativly you could get your DA radius rods cut with a new thread (to aviod redrilling anything), but I didnt do this (as it was cheaper for me to re-drill the prelude ones opposed to me paying someone with a lathe to cut the thread)
