if it is too wide, then it is noisy, if it is too narrow, it will run poorly...
it is very fiddly work, and is made much easier by using the Snap-On tool for it... doesnt take much time though...
places like Hannys who do lots of Honda work would be the best place to get it done... but yes - any mechanic *could* do it...
Also is it best to get it done when the engine is cold because if its hot the metal parts have expanded and you can't get an accurate measurement of the clearance?

that is why the exhaust clearance is 0.008 and the intake is 0.007 - the the exhaust gets hotter and expands more...... retired/
