Funnily enough i assumed TODA cost around $5k too.
Something to think about Adrian, it seems.
Well, I’ll defiantly take it onboard as constructive criticism,
Cheers.

The entry level or street coilovers are the fine sports range.
These are followed by the DA's or Dual Adjust. (Most popular model)
Dual adjust also come in track spec as DA-G (Dual Adjust for Ghymkhana)
There is also the ST seperate tank range,
- N1 Race dampers
- EX - Expert series (for some models)
& EX-G - Expert seris for Ghymkhana.

i got my zeal function xs coilovers from centraxauto and very happy with their service. i specified non-standard 12kg/mm front and 8kg/mm rear zeal xcoils springs rather than the stock 10/6, with appropriate valving of the shocks, all for standard price (just had to wait a little longer while they were made to order for me by zeal).
have you considered superfunctions?
honestly i have had my coilovers for several years of daily-driving to-from work, winding roads and trackdays and find them a great compromise. depends on personal preference tho, eg FunkyR drove my car and said he couldn't live with such firm suspension on a daily-driver..

is it worth sacrificin edfc for a set of todas. the edfc is reaaly handy espec for the rear struts... unless there is another way to adjust the rear setting on the todas as i see a cable stickin out of the rear ones on the pictures??
still trying to decide between teins with edfc or fightex... for my dc5s
Good question - I''ve read so much debates around this that it gave me a head ache.
What it appears to be was that the racing community in the states actually ran soft springs up front as opposed to what the Japanese did.
The arguments for Harder springs up front ran all the way from differing driving styles to Japanese race cars running larger front wheels (or smaller rear wheels), which negated the understeer effect, but in general, running stiffer springs up front encouraged understeer which was, in a way, good for the common street driver.
I just ran whatever came out from the manufacturer.
Not sure if its been noticed though but the real japanese coilovers setup for racing in a FWD typically have a very small difference between the front and rear - e.g. Toda N1s, HKS Hipermax Pros, where the difference is typically only about 2kg presumably to just compensate for the weight of having the engine up front. So really, its quite balanced.
