Horse power is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you."

Yeh i was gonan say the same thing as well Dave. about the dip in the dyno graph, you would want to try and smooth out the mid range better as that is what you will mostly use?

Any mods to a car that improve performance will make it "not stock" IMO.
i meant he is running the stock turbochargers, not that he has a stock car.

and as tinks said, dyno results can only be compared on the same dyno on the same day, same ambient conditions etc. what one car makes on a dyno and what another one makes on a different dyno are totally irrelevant.
as far as i'm concerned, they could have run this dyno calibrated in 'apples' instead of kilowatts. if mic made 55apples with his stock dc2r and i made 57apples with my modified one, we can say that the mods were effective in that i gained power over mic.

absolutely. i know no-one in SA who i would trust for such work..
mildrens perhaps? but they specialise in rotary's, dont know if theyve ever done a honda.
nope, thats why i am going 'bolt-on' light-tune all the way!

no i dont notice any dip in power, it feels great to me (i guess i dont know any better?lol), its still an improvemet over stock. the midrange and top end actually feel very smooth and progressive, there is no lull or dip in accelerative force..after this 'dip' you will notice that over the space of a 1000rpm or so the power curve rises quite steeply, which i beleive is what gives the feeling of the extra midrange shove

perhaps time for a mugen intake and that exedy hypersingle clutch&fly kit i have been daydreaming about?
