Thanks for the info adrian i will get APC to dyno the car in Shootout Mode 4 and in 5th gear and with 50psi of pressure in the tyres so that it is consistent as possible with the dyno from your shop.

I am aware temps and humidity have a bearing on the amount of power made but there shouldn't be a 10kw difference....

All will be told on thursday i guess. Dyno is being done at 7.30 am so still should be reasonably cool too which will be good.

Ok so the car went on the dyno this morning at APC and below is the result. The car was run in 4th gear as they would not do it in 5th and said they never dyno in 5th gear....

Nearly everything is the same on this dyno at the Toda one with the main difference being the "TN" figure which is 3.543 at Toda and 4.521 at APC, is there anyone who can explain or knows what this TN figure is and how it affects the power reading?

Also you can see that the car only makes power to around 8000-8500 rpm and then starts to lose power. Previous graphs have all showed the car making power basically to the 9000rpm rev limit.

Not sure what TN stands for but the higher it is, the LOT higher number you'll get on dyno. I think someone got 144kw on Toda but about 125kw on C&J only?

                3.543 at Toda
                4.521 at APC
                3.206 at C&J
                3.544 at Mercury

If you look at the temps there is only 1-2degrees diference which is sweet f all...

So the only thing which is making a difference is the TN figure from what i can tell.... And from the way the car feels i would say it is closer to 143kw like the dyno comp read out, which has the same TN figure as Toda...

i reckon, and this is coming from a person which dont care too much about the highend power number. You should look at your dynos power delivery curve instead of just the highest hp. Ur power curve looks quite good from what i can see and quite linear too.

Too much varying factors with dynos i reckon. Anyways, u have a respectable amount of power thats forsure.

Received a dyno graph from a friend of mine in the USA. He has a RSX Type S, naturally aspirated, and using the standard 62mm throttle body. The motor has big cams, modified head with larger valves, and higher compression pistons. He made his own intake air cleaner system, intake manifold (got someone else to cast it), headers and exhaust system. 286.28 corrected HP at 8,600 rpm. That's 213.45 kw at the wheels. Tested on DynaPack Dynamometer.

I found the graph of the RSX Type S.
