yeah just dont get cheap dodgy ones from autobarn/kmart or whatever cos they arent tight/well fitted at all and little rocks/particles get blown in and create several surface scratches... so yeah, well worth the investment on a custom fit one if u park outdoors or will use one regularly.
guys, if you want the genuine body cover from honda, i can get it cheaper than the internal price for you guys.
I work in parts at audi and i've got a few mates who work at honda in parts too. I'm from melbourne and i would be ordering from john blair honda in pharan if you are interested.
hey hey hey calm down lol im just telling from a mates experience (u can call him an "experienced owner")... and thats as far as i know, i am not a car cover expert freak...
particles can be blown in many directions (not necessarily upwards) according to something called the wind.... and then when u remove your cover, it drags them across the surface? ummm does this make sense now? but yeah whatever... just contributing.

When your surface is clean (And I hope it is if you do decide to cover your car, otherwise the damage is done by the uncleaned surface to begin with.) nothing in the form of airweight being carried apart from dust can settle. When it's covered, even dust is almost impossible to settle.
Those who have seen my cars will know how immaculate the paintwork is with minimal care and maintenance, no car cover freaks here either. Just simple experience and basic physics knowledge. The tight elastics around the composite car cover will do instant scratches if you lose the flip/elasticity when attempting to put the cover on. Risk vs probability, the tight cover is more prone to damage over loose.
