While the derived tuning power curve is different from an airbox/CAI/SRI, it's application usage that will truly see which matches best.
An airbox is extremely great for response and constant out of powerband usage however there is minimal top end rewards. While a CAI/SRI in constant VTEC powerband will execute and deliver optimum results not useful when hopping in and out of VTEC.
There isn't a "correct/ultimate/perfect" school of tuning and managing powerband distribution especially on VTEC engines. You either have the low to mid or mid to high powerband.
