I know i had better cams than the AU R but not the same as the JDM R
The Australian Type S and JDM Type R are very similar. Same cams, intake manifold etc. However, JDM has higher compression pistons and a slightly more agressive ECU requiring 100 octane fuel.
Hmm interesing, i didnt know about this! Anyone got a price on those cams and IF they fit on the aussie type R just by dropping them in? (sorry sounds a bit newb).

Yes it can be done but then you would need a new ecu to take full advantage of this.
But saying this, the money you spend is not worth what you it. You would rather go aftermarket cams for a better bang for your buck.
