so a "mechanical LSD" = "clutch style LSD"

I assume this was the right one to download.

well, that one is fine for basic stuff (like gear box etc), but this is the one with Type R references in it:

Yeh Dave, according to Motul mechanical = clutch. I did a bit of research on this earlier in the year when I had groaning noises coming from the transmission. Motul recommended the Gear 300 in 75w90. Apparently the FF one has friction modifiers which Type R LSD doesn't need.

There are some posts on h-t as well about it, can dig them up if you want.

Has anyone uploaded this onto some different webspace so that we can download it without registering? Or is anyone willing to do that?

I'm a poo brown ITR owner. Of course you should change the gearbox oil.

Spoon recommends you change it with your engine oil. Dunno if you should do it THAT offen. But it surely isn't bad for your gearbox.

"Compatibility: All gearboxes & hypoid rear axles without LSD. All types of cars - circuit, rally, 4wd & passenger. "

                          - From Motul Website.

I dont think Gear 300 is designed for LSD

Off memory at the shop it was $25?

we have already discussed whether the Motul 300 is suitable for DC2R's

                                the answer is yes.
