heard this from a friend of mine:

"Was chatting to my cousin who manages a Bridgestone store.

A few weeks back, Bridgestone performed some testing at Mallala
against the flag ship tyres from other manufactures (from memory
Yokohama, Goodyear, Michelin etc). The new Adrenaline tyre
outperformed all the other manufactures in the tests.

Sounds like it will be an awesome tyre."

Forgot to add - the bridgestone dealer down the road from me went to an RE001 track day as well. He said the RE001 wasn't that much faster than a S03 around the track, but it was better to drive on, more predictable and controllable, especially when on the limit.

He also said they make it asymmetric to make it quieter.

I saw a Bridgestone catalogue sent in the mail and they advertise this tyre. For 195/50/15 profile they are selling it for $129.

The catalogue says it is replacing both the S03 and GIII tyres. So maybe safe to say that they're better than GIII but on par or lower in performance than S03?

Anyway this is a repost off "The Tyres Thread"
But this thread will be good to keep updated on the first sucker errm I mean person to try these out.

I got the same catalogue, and it advertised them for $199 in the stock DC5R size (205/55R16), which is pretty cheap if they are close to the performance of an S03.

that is awesome price. That puts them cheaper then t1r

I still think re070 looks cool. it looks like a full blown semi from the outside.
