      thanks mate

im trying to fit the DC5R rims on a 5TH GEN prelude and the wheel offset is 5 x 114.3 PCD, 16x6.5" Rim +55 Offset

the DC5R wheel actually says +55?

if the 5th Gen Prelude is +55, then the JDM DC5R wheel would fit perfect

would the AUDM DC5R wheels fit too then or they different between AUDM and the JDM DC5R wheels?

            JDM rim - +60
            AU rim - +42

If the Prelude wheel is +55, and the AUDM DC5R wheel is +42, then you will be increasing the track by 26mm ((55 - 42) * 2 = 26mm) . ie. the wheels will stick out 13mm further on each side.

This will affect your scrub radius etc, and may promote a bit of "tramlining".

They might fit but the car might not feel as nice to drive.

                  thanks for the help

I reckon the JDM ones look better then the AUDM ones on the prelude!!

Aussie Spec DC5 Wheels will fit onto Preludes no worries, there's nothing to be concerned about.

The car won't feel as good as it will on wheels with the correct offset.

That may not concern you, but it would concern me.

Kind of like saying "JDM DC5R wheels fit AuDM DC5R's just fine" .... which they do, but the reduction in track due to the incorrect offset causes some 'interesting' handling traits.
