I have the same fluid in my car now as i did when i took it onto the track.. still firm and most people comment about my brakes saying it feels like aftermarket.. shocked to find i only changed pads and fluid but still the stock calipers.
I only bleed when i feel that either i think its starting to feel spongy.. or i want to try a new fluid out.
i dont think i have ever felt my car go from spongy... to better.... but for price i feel the penrite sin so far does well
and after bleeding regardless of fluid it always feels better ^_^..Last edited by Wlee2; 03-04-07, 12:28 PM.Memorable quotes

super dot 4 is dot 5.1.
"In so many words, DOT 5.1 fluids are simply DOT 4-type fluids which meet DOT 5 performance requirements. Because of this, they typically can be mixed with DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluids without concern. In some circles, they are even referred to as ‘DOT 4 Plus’ or ‘Super DOT 4’ fluids because they are more similar to a conventional DOT 4 fluid by chemistry than they are to a conventional DOT 5 fluid. In fact, DOT 5.1 is essentially comprised of Borate Esters."

But for ease we were refering to dot5.1 because he asked who has used it =P..
and the name of the fluid is actually called super dot 4 .. which adds a bit to the confusion =P.. i dont know why they dont just adapt the 5.1 name? any ideas?Last edited by Wlee2; 03-04-07, 01:59 PM.Memorable quotes

Yeh mugsee was ment to give a report on how the Penrite Sin went for him
the otherone that was interesting or not sure if its worth trying out was the brembo brake fluid which is a dot 5.1 (i think) i forget its name =P.. but they said the price was cheaper than the RBF600 (did i get that right =P)
Anyone ever tried the LCF600 plus from brembo?
Edit: and im uncertain about the price.. someone told me it could be bought for less than the page i found =P.. much less..Last edited by Wlee2; 04-04-07, 05:33 PM.Memorable quotes
