play with this to see how much 'extra' sidewall the 205/55 vs 195/55 adds- http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html (hint, it is ~6mm)

and we still have no alignment specs or ANY actual alignment info to go off...

i drive a Jazz with 185/60's RE002's on it and they do NOT have any excessive 'sidewall' flex that affects the handling (at 35psi cold).

Ehhh...well if its 195 to 205 on the same profile, there's nothing in it. If that's the case then, get the right width wheel, haha!
