ok, i have a kpro that has maps of injen intake, RRC manifold and toda headers greddy exhaust. ive recently installed the exhaust. and i was wondering if i could install the kpro in as it is just a straight swap and plug in but the questions is would i have a problem with it if i dont install the manifold same time? or should install it at the same time just to be safe. or am i able to drive around with the kpro in with stock manifold? just a curious question and i was planning to just to install my kpro myself thats why as its just sitting at home chilling. lol

If the kpro is mapped for the intake and intake manifold that you dont have in the car wont run properly. The fuel map will be different as the ecu thinks it is receiving more air than it can1995 Honda Civic EG (K20)

2010 Volkswagen Golf GTI (Emission Monster)

Be interesting to see what people say here.
Do you have the injen intake?
I wouldnt see a HUGE issue with the kpro (if you are only missing the RRC manifold).
You may have some lag issue or choke issue even idle difference depending on how hard the tune was (if using the max values).
Also could run rich in fuel as the intake is decreased the tune may compensate for the loss in air induction to increase in fuel.
Thats what I reckon but would like to see what others say.Just going for a drive ~146.4kw~

nah running stock air box. i was gonna attempt on install the injen when i was install my toda headers and exhaust in but that was gonna take 3 hours and would take abit of chopping and shaping and taking the front bumper bar off and shit so i couldnt be fucked. but instead just bought a gruppe m inake and planning just installing that in.
as for running rich think i am abit with the exhaust ive installed. hitting vtec is fucking sick though, GREDDY if u want it to scream... lmaoo

What mods are on the car ATM? (more info would help)
If the ECU has a map or calibration for mods you do not have, dont run this map.
Instead..... open up Kmanager and upload the stock map for you car.

You should gget it tuned regardless. You don't want to skimp out on some thing which is going to be running youe car. And to be honest, air flow is different between the gruppem and the injen as the gruppem is a ram air intake and the injen is cold air. The ram has an open air supply directly under the windshield whereas the injen has to get air routed through the bbottom of the car. While they are sort of the same, depending on who did the map on your kpro, you can and probaby will run into issues on idle and even wot. Your engine is quite sensitive to mods and if the map is off, then you'll run horribly.
Just my 2c. Anyone feel free to correct me.
