I wouldnt go welding it. The joints are there to provide extra flex.

I might trying replacing the donut gasket, and maybe put some liquid exhaust gasket on the slip joints. Whats the right liquid gasket to use? copper gasket? its o2 sensor safe

I've used liquid gasket on the slip joints, and it seemed to have reduced the leak, i think now its at the donut gasket, the shop had used a gasket suited for a ford falcon and put liquid gasket all over it and it still leaks. I found the plm gasket in my back seat, Might use that and see how it goes.

Also, is it weird that I haven't gotten a check engine light yet? Driven almost 130kms with the headers, lots of vtec (loving the sound with the headers :P) I'm not using a defouler yet and running a 100cpi cat, the cel light works fine (lights up on ignition). Everyone i know has had to run a defouler to fix their cel after a headers or cat delete install...
